# Set up the Captivate Chat MS Teams App

Before you connect your Chat Flow to your MS Teams, you need to install the **Captivate Chat MS Teams App**.&#x20;

Log into your Microsoft Teams.&#x20;

On the left-side toolbar, click ***Apps***.&#x20;

A new window will load that contains available applications you can integrate to your Microsoft Teams.&#x20;

On the search bar, look for `"Captivate Chat"`.

Wait for the screen to load. An app called Captivate Chat should appear and look like the one in the picture above. Click ![The MS Teams App store has the "Add" button to install the Captivate Chat MS Teams App to your organization's MS Teams](/files/F5Hj9Ijr6B9RMiHiUZNQ) on the upper right side of the application.&#x20;

This will open a pop-up window containing the application page.

Proceed with the installation by clicking ![Purple version of the "Add" button in MS Teams App Store that installs the Captivate Chat MS Teams App to your organization's MS Teams](/files/tzOwRuWSi6OIr4tpK3PS) below the name.&#x20;

As the app is installed, this button transforms into ![When you click the "Add" button of the Captivate Chat MS Teams App in the Apps Store, it becomes "Adding" during installation.](/files/VZsoug8NUag8FBA2hcAp).&#x20;

Once complete, a new window will appear. Click ![The purple "Add" button of the Captivate Chat MS Teams App that becomes "Adding" during installation will become a purple "Open" after the app is installed. Press "Open" to open the Captivate Chat MS Teams App. ](/files/LQV1BLIMSHBhXskvj5Bd).

A chat window for Captivate Chat will appear. This is Captivate Chat’s own dedicated app for MS Teams integration.

Microsoft Teams allows you to open the Captivate Chat MS Teams App to be opened across different "channels."&#x20;

Select your preferred channel, especially if you have different Microsoft Teams organizations.
