# Connect your Captivate Chat account

When you open the **Captivate Chat MS Teams App**, you should first log into your Captivate Chat account before you can connect your Chat Flows.

In the textbox of the Captivate Chat MS Teams App, type `signin` to start the login process.

Under the first response, click ![This white "I Agree" button appears when opening Captivate Chat MS Teams App for the first time. Only click this after reading the terms and conditions.](/files/4lafEF6Uoi4CzF2IYqHv). &#x20;

When the second message appears, click ![The purple "Admin Consent" button will appear after players click the white "I Agree" message upon opening Captivate Chat MS Teams App for the first time. A new window will appear. You have to log in to your Captivate Chat account.

After logging in, you will see a permissions request. This will list the things that Captivate Chat MS Teams App needs access to in order to connect Chat Flows to your Teams organizations. &#x20;

Click ![This blue "Accept" button that appears after clicking the purple "Admin Consent" button in the Captivate Chat MS Teams app comes with the permissions that users will be asked to give Captivate Chat in a new window. Click this button to agree.](/files/7SIyskIDyuzbGVQNJSKx).&#x20;

After providing consent, a new message will appear. You will be redirected to your chat in Microsoft Teams.&#x20;

This will prompt the app to check if your Microsoft Teams email is already connected to an existing Captivate Chat account.&#x20;

If this is the case, the Captivate Chat MS Teams App will make an automatic connection.
