Before you create your AI Chatbot, you have to set it up first.
Under the Setup > AI Chatbot view, click .
A pop-up window should appear. Under the New AI Chatbot window, fill up the following:
Name Your AI Chatbot: Assign a name to your AI Chatbot that corresponds to your needs.
Naming is important!
If you plan on making multiple Chatbots, naming and labeling them with a Name and Logo makes them easier to organize.
You may wish to use a version number or some other standard that makes it easier to follow the meaning of the bot. For example, “My Bot v1.0”
Your AI Chatbot's name in "My AI Chatbots" is for internal use only!
When you create an AI Chatbot in Captivate Chat, its name under "Name Your AI Chatbot" is for internal use only. This will only be visible to you and the Captivate Chat team.
Your AI Chatbot can appear under a different public name through a Chat Flow, depending on the Channels you choose and how to customize them!
Reinsert the name and the logo of your AI Chatbot when you use "Update AI Chatbot"
When you update your AI Chatbot via the "Update AI Chatbot" menu, you have to re-type its name and re-upload its logo.
Upload Logo: This will remind you the purpose of the bot. Your logo should be square and of moderate resolution (e.g. 100 pixels x 100 pixels). You can remove the logo by clicking on the and replace it at any time.
Click when you're finished.
As you work through the steps to define your AI Chatbot you can edit its Name or Logo by clicking on the pencil icon ( ) in the field at the top of the page.
