After Select Channel > Full Chat, you will be taken to Configure Full Chat Channel. This is where you can integrate your AI Chatbot as the dedicated chatbot of your Facebook Page.

SUMMARY

Creating a Full Chat Channel involves these steps:

  1. Choose Full Chat: In Step 2: Select Channel, choose "Full Chat." This brings you to the Configure Full Chat Channel window.

  2. Give your Chat Flow a name Provide an internal name for your Chat Flow - these will appear when interacted with as an AI Chatbot in the Full Chat.

  3. Provide Client Name, Client Logo and Description: Under General Settings, provide the Client Name to be used in the URL and their logo, as well as a Description of the Full Chat Channel.

  4. Choose your theme colors: Under Theme Configuration, select colors for Light Theme and Dark Theme of your Full Chat Channel.

  5. Provide Avatar Name, Background Image, Introduction Message, and Chat Header Message: Under Avatar Configuration, Provide a Background Image for your Full Chat Channel as well as the public name of your AI Chatbot (Avatar Name), the Full Chat's introductory message, and a message to users on top of the Full Chat Channel.


Configure Full Chat Channel

Customizing your Full Chat Channel in order to become fully deployable is done through three (3) major steps:

  • General: This is where you'll fill up basic information about your Full Chat Channel.

  • Theme: These are simple customization options for your Full Chat Channel's browser appearance. Don't worry, we have a preset option that looks nice!

  • Avatar: These are options to customize your AI Chatbot Avatar's basic descriptions.


General Settings

When you start creating your Full Chat Channel, you will be led to the General Settings. This is where you'll be providing the basic information of your Full Chat Channel, such as:

  • Channel Name: The internal name of your Full Chat Channel.

  • Client Name: This is the name you will be using in the URL when previewing the Full Chat Channel.

  • Client Logo

    • Client Logo URL: This will auto-fill after you upload a Client Logo.

  • Description: Describe your Full Chat Channel.

Click Next to proceed to the next tab.


Theme Configuration

The second tab of the "Configure Full Chat Channel" page is Theme Configuration. This will let you set up the color palettes of both the Light Theme and Dark Theme of your Full Chat Channel.

Changing any of the colors via the color picker will update a Theme Preview below them.

Click Next to proceed to the next tab.


Avatar Configuration

The third and last tab of the "Configure Full Chat Channel" window is Avatar Configuration, where we can further customize the AI Chatbot's appearance in the Full Chat Channel. Options are:

  • Avatar Name: The name of the AI Chatbot that will be revealed in the Full Chat Channel.

  • Background Image

    • Background Image URL: This will auto-populate after you upload a Background Image.

  • Introduction Message: Welcome your users with this message.

  • Chat Header Message: The message that appears at the top of the Full Chat Channel.


Chat Channel Created Successfully

After you finish the three tabs of the "Configure Full Chat Channel" page, you will see the Chat Channel Created Successfully window. This summarizes all the choices you've made so far, as well as a link you can copy to preview the Full Chat Channel.

Click Next or to finish creating your Channel.

Click to preview your Full Chat Channel. This closes the "Chat Channel Created Successfully" window.

The "Step 2: Select Channel" page will have Full Chat highlighted in blue when you click it.
Clicking "Full Chat" in "Step 2: Select Channel" and clicking "Next" will take users to "Configure Full Chat Channel." You have to fill out three tabs (General, Theme, and Avatar) to finish the process.
The "General" tab is the first tab under "Configure Full Chat Channel" and will lead users to General Settings. This will ask users to fill in basic details about the Full Chat, including the internal Channel Name, the subdomain name for previewing, the Client Logo used, and a general Description.
The "Theme" tab is the second tab under "Configure Full Chat Channel" and will lead users to Theme Configuration. This will ask users for basic color selection that will determine the color palette to be used for the light mode and dark mode of the Full Chat Channel.
This is the view of the Dark sub-tab under "Theme" tab (Theme Configuration) of the "Configure Full Chat Channel." The layout of the Dark sub-tab is the same as the Light sub-tab, and changing any of the colors will reflect on the "Theme Preview" below.
The "Avatar" tab is the third tab under "Configure Full Chat Channel" and will lead users to Avatar Configuration. This will ask users for basic details about their Avatar, the Background Image of their Full Chat Channel, an Introduction Message, and a Chat Header Message.
The "Chat Channel Created Successfully" will appear after you complete the three tabs of the "Configure Full Chat Channel" page. The "Chat Channel Created Successfully" has three tabs summarizing the General, Theme, and Avatar tabs. You can click "Visit Chat" to see the Full Chat Channel in action.
